Whether it's advertising or branding that makes us laugh, think, or something we just find clever... you will find it here. Welcome to Fresh Media's Orange Slice.
Put Pocketers
The UK Based Broadband / Telephone company 'TalkTalk' has created a fun way to give back to their customers, their community, and total strangers - and it's called "Put-Pocketing". In the video, a small group of anti-thieves successfully sneak 20-pound notes into the jackets, handbags, pockets (and indirectly-- wallets!) of the unassuming masses. Warned only by small street signs, the public are mostly unaware they are walking in a put-pocketing zone. A fun form of viral video promotion for a company trying to give back!
Mr. W!
European based company Epuron hits the mark with an effective message brilliantly conveyed with subtle wit and humor. This commercial follows the exploits of a man simply titled "Mr. W" and is a testament to the use of a bit of comedic flair to capture the attention of your audience.
The Grass Is The Same On The Other Side
It's always nice to see an organization go that extra step when it comes to the environment. Denver Water Conservation has created a series of clever ads for their campaign "Use Only What You Need". The ads showcase how watering grass constantly isn't going to make it better or worse-- so why not put that sprinkler away and use only what you need? This campaign takes an interesting approach on how easy it is to conserve water without using guilt as a motivator, which so many other environmental campaigns tend to do. Denver Water takes a more positive approach on the state of our environment, which doesn't leave us feeling just plain old depressed!
