We are happy to announce that Fresh Media has won the Prince Edward Island Business Women's Association's Growing Business Award!
With a second-hand computer, three clients, and zero funding, Melody launched Fresh Media in 2003 from a basement apartment office. Since then, we're extremely proud of our growth, and thankful for all the great clients who have trusted us with their branding and advertising over the years. And the good news is... we're about to grow again!

MONSTERS INVADE FRESH MEDIA
It's that time of year again when witches, ghouls, and goblins come out to celebrate Halloween. This year, there's a new breed of critters that have descended upon Charlottetown - Monsters!
Monster Mash mania has hit Fresh Media. We have custom created an army of monsters that adorn each window of our office. We all love Halloween here at Fresh, so we decided to do something creative to celebrate Halloween for the families in the neighbourhood, as well as anyone who passes by. While the over 36 different monstrosities can be seen during the day, it's at night when the characters really come to life as they glow from all windows.
From a mutant ballerina, robot mermaid, and dragon fireman, to a spider cheerleader, this motley crew of monsters were great fun for all of us to create! We certainly hope to make this a tradition each year.REFRESHING RENO
In February 2010, Fresh Media moved into its new digs; a house that's stood on the corner of Pownal and Richmond Streets since 1839, or maybe even longer. With the move came a refreshing renovation to breathe new life into the former S.N.Kays Store and family home. Our very own resident web specialist Jeremy Brown has been awarded the 2010 ITAP Employee of the Year Award.
The Innovation and Technology Association of PEI awarded him with this distinction at the annual Gala Awards Dinner in June.
Jeremy is as hard-working as they come, and his dedication and web expertise has made him an invaluable part of the Fresh Media family. Nice work, Jeremy!
2010 PEI BUSINESS HALL OF FAME
Another round of applause for this year's inductees into the PEI Junior Achievement Prince Edward Island Business Hall of Fame.
The inductees included radio broadcast executive H.Frank Lewis; Dr. Kent Ellis, a family doctor and founder of Marco Polo Land; and Donald J.MacDougall, a founding director of the Toronto Blue Jays, president of Labatt Canada and long-time CEO of Slemon Park Corporation.
Their vision, work ethic, and community spirit will stand the test of time, and everyone at Fresh Media offers their most sincere respect to these deserved individuals. We were proud to once again donate our creative services for the Annual Awards Gala and Induction Ceremonies print materials.
'ART & COPY' PRIVATE SCREENING
Fresh Media is proud to have recently presented an exclusive screening of the film 'Art & Copy' at Charlottetown's own City Cinema.
This was not only a great excuse to eat popcorn and candy, it was a unique opportunity to shed some light on the creative side of advertising for our friends and clients that were invited to this private screening.
Art & Copy is a powerful new film about advertising and inspiration. Directed by Doug Pray, it reveals the wisdom of some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time.

Melody and Robbie were recently VIPs at this one day conference held in Toronto. Listening to these internationally renowned leaders as they shared their ideas on today's most critical marketing issues was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The perspectives and ideas that each speaker brought forth will only benefit Fresh Media as we continue to grow our company.
CULTIVATING GREAT EMPLOYER BRAND
The Prince Edward Island chapter of the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia (HRANS) recently invited Melody Dover to be the guest speaker at a special luncheon held in Charlottetown.
Melody was asked to speak on "Cultivating Great Employer Brand". Melody shared her experiences about growing Fresh Media, creating a creative culture, as well as offering advice on how those in attendance could better define their own internal brands.
